Nissen or Toupet tholoplasty
Previously, antipalindromic surgery required a large incision in the abdomen that resulted in severe postoperative pain and a recovery period of six weeks or more, and success rates were not very high.

Laparoscopic Nissen or Toupet Tholoplasty reverses these facts and provides many advantages:
- The surgical time is 45 minutes.
- It is done laparoscopically, through small incisions through which the laparoscopic instruments pass.
- It involves strengthening the “valve” between the esophagus and the stomach, wrapping the upper part of the stomach with the lower part of the esophagus.
- The symptoms of reflux disappear in 1-3 months.
- The patient remains in the clinic for 1-2 days.
- The operation has minimal morbidity, i.e. there is no severe pain and the patient returns immediately to daily activities.
- The patient is completely free of medication.
- After the operation, gastroscopy is no longer required.
- The patient is completely free from the risk of fatal esophageal cancer.
