Accreditation update of the laboratory’s tests

We would like to inform our dear examinees and patients that we have detected the incorrect use of the ESYD (National Accreditation System, www.esyd.gr ) logo in some of the examinations we conduct for the period from January 2020 to October 2020. Indicatively and non-exclusively, we mention the urinalysis, urine culture, vaginal smear culture, tests for COVID-19 infection, which should not bear the ESRD logo as they are, at present, outside the scope of accreditation of our laboratories.

The problem was related to the computerized way of issuing results and for this purpose corrective actions were immediately implemented so that the correct use of the ESYD logo is made in the test results form, in accordance with the range of tests that the Biopathology Laboratory has ISO 15189:2012 accreditation from the ESYD.
However, please note that this correction does not change your test results, which are correct, reliable and do not need to be repeated.

The Biopathology Laboratory of the White Cross has accreditation in clinical trials (ISO 15189:2012) by the ESYD, with No. Certificate: 942, for a wide range of biological sample testing.
